2022 Audition Information
Inertia Independent Winds Open Houses are scheduled for Sunday November 7th and November 14th from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. You should arrive a few minutes early as we will start promptly at 1:00 PM.
Prospective members and returning members auditioning for a wind part should bring two prepared pieces of music that show their best abilities form a range and technical standpoint. Please select no more than 1 minute from each piece to present in your audition.
Percussionists should also have a prepared piece of music that shows their technical abilities and be prepared to play both individually and in an ensemble.
Colorguard prospective should have a short 1-2 minute routine prepared that shows their movement and equipment ability. They will also be working with the guard ensemble learning new movement and equipment.
Finally, all prospective and past members should bring instruments if available, appropriate guard equipment, and come with comfortable black clothing as well as clean hole free socks for movement rehearsal. Veterans may proudly ware their Inertia Apparel. We will be working in musical ensembles as well as movement clinics through out the open house.
